Justin Bieber visits Philippines after raising $3 MILLION for victims of Typhoon Haiyan

The megastar met school children and performed an impromptu gig during the emotional trip which he describes as the "most touching trip of my life"
Touching: Bieber made an emotional visit
He gets a lot of stick for his questionable lifestyle choices – whether it’s urinating in a mop bucket or sneaking out of brothels.

But it’s not always a circus of bratty behaviour in the world of Justin Bieber as the megastar took time out of his busy schedule to visit the Philippines.

The baby-faced singer launched a campaign to help raise money for the victims of super Typhoon Haiyan which ripped through the area over a month ago.

It left thousands dead and hundreds homeless in what has since been described as one of the most powerful typhoons ever to hit the land.

Bieber - who has so far raised more than $3 MILLION to boost an international relief effort - described it as the "most touching trip of my life."

During his stay the 19-year-old met young children at San Jose Elementary School and played basketball with a young survivor from the natural disaster.

He also performed an intimate acoustic gig for the residents who looked overjoyed to see the Beauty and the Beat singer.
